I’ll never forget that wink and smile. How your eyes said it’ll be alright and the way sun shined behind that dark sad mind.

It is what it was and that’s all it should ever be.

It’s so interesting to me how people let bad memories tarnish good ones as if you weren’t two energies that coexisted and intertwined within one another.

    although bruised, his wings fluttered
    coarse skin to his knees
    sang of love and forever
but dabbled in things that drew to a near

    his edges were jagged
    the pills he took ravaged
his soul seemed clean of innocence and purity
his sultry sung with the birds and chirped with the wind

his legs could bend and flip
    life never seemed to kiss
he lived of death and hell
the karma he knew is what satan sold

a headstone of all things said
    deathbed carved to him
they say he reaps from the grave
cuts your limbs as you speak his name

    once a wholesome boy
but now a man you never knew
the one who fell from the blue
    and drifted right on through

    stolen innocence

Do you think love is worth heartbreak? Do you think it’s worth it to completely fall for someone and knowing that it will have to end in the future? Do you think those feelings is worth feeling? Cause I know that the last one I’ll end up feeling is heartbreak, and I’m terrified.

True unconditional love is the most beautiful thing you can experience. To encounter someone and appreciate the way they walk, talk, how they turn the page and how a certain strand of hair glistens in the light. It is an immaculate feeling that makes the sun shine and the grass green.

Heartbreak is a part of being. You will face it regardless of love as it lurks and attacks in your darkest hour. It’s nothing to be afraid of as it strengthens your stance, roughens your hands and toughens your skin.

Once you selflessly love someone, you’ll love them for eternity. One day you may no longer be in love, but you still love them and you will always cherish moments regardless of the bad. It might start with sadness, but you eventually appreciate the past happiness.

I learned who I am and who I’m not, what I’m worth and who is not.

    a year and a few
    a talk after you
    it’s still your hair
    lavender air
    scent and strong
    way you held on
    but gave up so soon
    and how a sudden moment
    ended without a boom

    without warning

I could die in this very instant and I would be content. Time is inevitable and regardless of my physical, I’ll always be here. I’ll always linger and be a part of, have my heart in the air and my soul in what I believed in.
