I dreamt of him and for the first time in awhile I slept throughout the night. Maybe I liked the comfort of being with him. A dream or not, we were together and I guess I didn’t want to let go.

    masculine
    a savage
    strong with edges
    words you can’t see
    breath which could seethe

    he stood with daylight
    submerged with night
    understood rhythms
    which brought truth

    his days were you
    his love was blue
    which turned gray
    when life sat at haze
    flowers diminished
    and a summer romance
    flew with you

    the wind was his young
    the dashing
    and all of his edges
    were you
    his night was you
    the clouds spoke too

    and as he stood
    he glistened with the eve
    through leaves
    through stems
and onto the long lasting petal
    which was you
    in a form of another
    a being
    with softness standing
    immensely in front of thee

    base of the tree

    i dreamt of you
    in that blue
    with your hairs still
    love which could kill
    i felt you
    dancing and twirling
    pulling and hurling
    my heart to the floor
    and then i awoke
    to a blur of you
    your voice
    your smirk
    rugged hands
    a final dance
    for a fine man
who i can’t seem to have
    who i don’t truly want
and even though i can’t have you
    don’t want you
it was nice to see you
it was nice to love you

    No poetry.
    Just thankful.
    Thank you.

    he sat
    by the sea of life
    where the world turned
at the tip of his fingers
    but in a world where
    they would never meet
    where two would pass
    yet never greet

    hopeless

    a thousand and one
    i sit along
    your gated fence
    holding my hand
    wondering where you went
    how things could transcend
    without a tone
    words
    a sentence
    we take simple
    for granted
    little things
    with fading light
and when it changes to night
    we become lost
    twirling for nonsense
    becoming who we lost
    loving ourselves
    with every cost
    and obsessing
    over a love
    lost

    after the ghost

I believe for the first time in my life I feel the feeling of not understanding and it’s not scary, it’s terrifying.

    he’s soft
    simple
    elegant
    lovely
    quite a divine
    gentleman

    his zodiac spoke kind
but deep down he was crafted of fire
and he would die in your desire
    to understand rhymes, rhythms
    how they aligned

    he would walk
    in his own narcissism
    the simplicity of an ego
cries of night and a devotion
    teased with vodka

    he could steal and drift
    he could love without loving
    his heart seemed right
    but his eyes were rough
and his love was never yours
and his touch was never kind

How I’d love for a human to let me forget the feeling of touch. How words slip from my tongue and how necks taste under the stars when lights glare and the city is no more.

    we went rounds
    screaming about
    how you turn
    evolve
    from
    and into
    we were simple
    a slight otherworldly
    with christmas before
    and a new year after
    but metaphors speak evil
    lovely couldn’t
    and eyes mixed with ice
    we sat frozen
    between vowels
    between i
    between o
    between u
    money isn’t everything
    but for some people
    it seems to be everything

    money hungry
