    i wrote a thousand words
    of you in night
    light glimmering
    upon your shoulders
    frogs sing in our torture
    the mist rotates our feet
    running in false directions
    with you without me
    darkness consumes the everglades
shadows in the darkest of places
    scattered voices scream the names
of loved ones we lost in error
    i say your name
    to speak the truth
but violence sways in our way
hypocrisy in the darkest of days
    i rhymed in motion
    leaving you hopeless
    an unrequited love
    was the hardest
but the night we danced in
    turned men to frogs
    witches in lost gardens
    brewing you
    casting lies
    dividing time
    forgetting why
i told you i never loved you

witches brew lies in the forest for men who need love

    it snows in your eyes
i feel the ice on your heart
we slip and hold our edges
    drinking bliss upon our lips
    with red stained crevices
    broken bottles on the table
    champagne glasses shaking
    i throw in your eyes
with your face against the wall
    we’re drunk and dumb
falling for an idea of a happy ever after
    i twirl in your eyes
    how your heart feels
    but your brain turns
    the pages i swing from
    mirrors on our house
    we’re throwing rounds
of us through love we dreamed of

    snowing

your edges swept against the willow way
eyes of men who speak the most divine
    finding thoughts under street lights
a man in the softest day
    breaking in acid rain
    you feel a sign
i find your truth in words
    from stutters to shattered thoughts
the way arms tense and lips flutter
    pink of your skin
caressing the hairs on your head
    i transcend with you
    in the outer of sense
    breaking trends to break space
    touching our bodies in metaphors
    i break into bits
kissing the lips of a dangerous bend
reminisce in the memories of sleepless nights
    bodies grazing
    men screaming crazy
    dancing in the night
    you and i
twirling in and out of consciousness
    below the stop light

    in the night

i used to die in your arms
    against something i knew
    a quiet rhythm
    the beat of your heart
eyes like the dark side of the moon
    a hidden glaze with depths
    the white of your shirt
how it glistens beneath the dark light
    strobes in the background
your hair flows in slow motion
have you ever felt a love
    so divine
have you ever felt a moment
    so strong
it strokes your spine with insanity
i wipe the sweat upon your forehead
with the touch of my lips
    swaying in the moment
    we gravitate towards this
    a loss of time
    lost in a ourselves
    within each other

    sensual

i lie on a coarse surface
    with edges grazed with madness
to fall in love is to fall for a sadness
    thriving in a moment
    i panic
    an essence breaks a poet
    stolen in nostalgia
    breaking and taking
    fucking and craving
    your brains in my face
    an intelligent grace
running in fields never felt like this
    your hands on my thighs
    it tastes like wine
it feels like we’re on fire
drunk in you but drunk in me
    feigning for a love
    i never quite understood
    the warm and dry
    i used to wonder why
    i used to hide
in the dark of your aura
finding myself in tears of a sullen man
    broken by a muse
who lit his words with ice
    throwing them with force
    holding them
    with no remorse

no deep regret or guilt for a wrong committed

i atone to the way you left it
in the dark void of our truth
    a man turned monster
dancing with wolves of his past
i rake the leaves you left
    thieves in our garden
    jumping from stones
    throwing rocks in our meadows
    i take the fall
with frogs singing in the background
    we twirl beneath the trees
fulfilling our shadows with a darkness
the devil sways in the night
    a tango delight
    with a dash of handsome
i held the hands of satan
    grasping for a haven
    a disguise in night
    the dark twists my neck
    yet it feels like
    heaven again

    dancing with masochism

    belvedere on the mantle
two legs flowing insane against the fire
    our loss of innocence
i entangle you in thoughts of blue
a dark grey afternoon under the desire of what was
i heard you in night calling forth for pain in our shadows
a couch of sin where i touched your lips
    rage against the shallow
touch your knees to feel the gravel in your heart
love within a moment but our moment was frozen
in the eyes i see cherries
    blood like a heathen
    raging in thought
to die is to cost our hearts
yet i fell in love with a darkness
    a wade for truth
    winds in your rapids
    holding on to you
where it was ever so wrong
    the waters running
    i feel you
    it feels nothing

you felt right but right ends so wrong

I loved you on a technicality, but I found you on a technicality. We find our truths in people who don’t deserve it and find ourselves in people who wouldn’t necessarily understand it. But who’s to say we didn’t use them to find ourselves? Who’s to say we didn’t love them to expand our personal experience?

    i broke for you
    for you to break me
    in pieces
    without dignity
    in tears of our sorrows
    lights dimming down our road
    street lights buckling
    shadows thriving
    i spoke your name
    without shaking
    before wine glasses broke me
    your aroma took our doors
    locks broke
    whispers in the dark
    i woke to the nightmares
    you instilled in me
    blood oak to black ashes
    a man with passion
    acid rain
    which we danced in

i found you when gentlemen cried at night
