To feel everything, yet nothing at all. That is the utmost beautiful feeling.

i taste your lips
a melancholy twist
with dash and bits
endless kisses
i rise with the shadows
descend in the eve
creating things
you’d never see
we tango to the night
slow dancing in the streets
jazz beneath our toes
candle lit
yet you’d never see
i kiss your hands
you kiss my back
that was then
this is now
where the tango
was always
just me -

I’ve never loved the wrong person, but I have loved the right people at the wrong time. The wrong life. The wrong moment.

You don’t get to come and go when it’s best for you. You appreciate when it’s rough, when it’s easy and when it just doesn’t make sense. You strive. You work. You love. You learn.

we sway with the eve
of a downtown balcony
hands against hips
words in the air
talking of sense
love, but sensuality
i long for hope
a dangling sleeve
with cut knees, bruised ankles
i slip between hands
the thickness of our use
two men who used
to find ourselves within
each other
near and there
but never too fardarkness of eve

I sat in a world of sorrow trying to figure things out. I couldn’t because the world isn’t supposed to be figured out. You’re not supposed to get it. You’re supposed to flow with it and things come or don’t. It’s that simple, but we think everything’s complex when it’s just sitting right in front of us.

i swing with a void
two arms too far
we pace like lions
foot after foot
dancing to our own beat
love which buckled
rather than defeat
we twirl our legs
between here and there
extend our hope
three times too far
i slip instead of walk
tango instead of slow dance
hands at a beat
legs at a pace
which feels too far from here
and just about therelost in love

stub of a toe
to the door of your heart
how it bleeds with creed
essentials i lost
sway with the wind
we go forth
finding ourselves in a fort of love
forks bending
a heart worth nothing
sliding with edges
tunes i couldn’t mend
i see you twirl
in a heart of stone
while the gold glistens
and you stray from path
i hurl to your eve
feel you
a lovely ease
it used to beit was (ease)
