here i lie
words on my face
words on my body
a lingering sense of sadness
we dipped like shadows
following through
grooving onto
ahead for nowhere
i slip into his grasp
falling between his trap
it feels like crack
we succumb to
words and notions
bulletproof skeletons
yet when it hurts, it hurts
twisting and turning
pulling and yearning
i didn’t want to go
still don’t
but you can’t fix
what doesn’t want to be fixed
morning
