my heart skipped a beat
your presence caressed
feels like sudden revenge
a twenty something stuck in reverse
with a soul of an elder
and fears that slept forever nearthe master of illusion
that crept upon a poet
one who thought he always knew it
but slow goes and who knows
we were with and stuck in sudden snow
just lost in a world of frost
and fried in heavy highsthis world of emptiness
floating in a world of hazy
